Wallace Jackson is currently in development on the JavaFX3D.com Rich Media Website. This website will showcase the Cross-Browser, Cross-Platform, Cross-Device RIA [Rich Internet Application] Development Platform of the future from Sun Microsystems (recently acquired by Oracle).
JavaFX runs on Windows (all versions), Apple Macintosh, UNIX, Linux, Solaris as well as Mobile OSes like Google Android, Windows SmartPhone, OpenMoko, and soon Palm Pre, BlackBerry & iPhone.
JavaFX Hardware Device support is extensive, and currently includes most Consumer Electronics devices, including: Personal Computers, NetBooks, Laptops, sub-Notebooks, PDAs, Pocket PCs, SmartPhones, Mobile Phones, Cellphones, Set-Top Boxes (HDTV Tuners) and HD DVD Players.
The JavaX3D.com webpage will be delivered in less than 1MB of data footprint and also have a mobile version. It will be available as a Widget and you will be able to drag the website out of the browser window and plop it down on your PC desktop as an installed application. Really.
